Monday December 30th MSTV is making changes to its weekend line-up. The network is ending the year by changing its Saturday & Sunday afternoon political themed shows.
"FiveThirtyEight" anchor Nate Silver is leaving the network effective February 22nd for a role at another network. Silver's program as well as Sunday program "44" hosted by Kornacki are being canceled at that time.
Effective Saturday March 1st, Kornacki along with Chief White House Correspondent Mike Brzezinski will host a new program, "Washington Week" with everything Washington from the week past and week forthcoming. The program will air on both Saturday and Sunday and incorporate many of the segments from "FiveThirtyEight" and "44".
Brzezinski will continue her role as Chief White House Correspondent for the coming months, a decision will be made at a later date if she holds the position longer.

Sunday January 19th 2014
Rumor has it, MSTV is looking into expanding its popular after dark news program "The Reporter" - but with a twist.
With Sunday being one of the most nights of television, the network is looking into having Josh Elliott and Erica Hill anchor the program Sunday - Thursday instead of Monday - Friday. While doing this, the network add another pair of co-anchors for a Friday/Saturday edition.
This move, if happening, wouldn't likely take place until the summer where it would be a test.
Right now, the lead anchors for the weekend editions include Thomas Roberts, Don Lemon, Kate Bolduan, & Stephanie Gosk.

Friday January 7th 2014
As MSTV prepares for the 2014 mid-term elections, the 2016 elections, and the debut of "Washington Week" next month - there have been some changes in the DC offices.
Mika Brzezinski will be leaving her role as Chief White House Correspondent later this month, announced as her replacement is Michelle Kosinski. Kosinski our current Chief London Correspondent is currently reporting from Sochi. Keir Simmons, already based in London will tack on Chief to his current title of London Correspondent.
Kosinski, is excited to return to America, and to join John King on the White House beat after the Olympics.
In addition - Gloria Borger is leaving her role as Capitol Hill Correspondent to become MSTV's new Chief Political Analyst. This role will give Borger a much larger daily presence, similar to that of George Stephanopoulos & Chuck Todd. Borger will maintain frequent appearances on "United States of Politics" as well as the Sunday shows.
MSTV is excited to enter the new terrain of politics in our nation's capitol. Below is a revised list of our lead D.C. anchors and correspondents including the changes italicized.
George Stephanopoulos (Politics: Director/Anchor) Gloria Borger (Politics: Chief Political Analyst) Chuck Todd (Politics: Chief Washington Correspondent) Jessica Yellin (Politics: Washington Correspondent) Michelle Kosinski (Politics: Chief White House Correspondent) John King (Politics: White House Correspondent) Mike Viqueira (Politics: Chief Capitol Hill Correspondent) Dana Bash (Politics: Capitol Hill Correspondent)

Tuesday February 18th
MSTV is proud to announce that Amy Robach will be back at work. Robach is expected to make her return to the anchor chair on Saturday March 1st. Robach has been contributing to "This Morning" both weekdays and weekends since her diagnosis with breast cancer late last year. Since then though Robach has not sat at the anchor desk, that will change next weekend.
Robach, of course will still have frequent absences as she goes through chemo, but her return will be welcomed by all. Robach returns to sit next to a new co-anchor, Craig Melvin, who took over in January from Jeff Glor.
Robach and Melvin are joined by Dylan Dreyer, Jenna Wolfe, and Kevin Neghandi.

Monday March 3rd
If you were watching daytime television this morning you were witness to two breaking news stories on the network.
Vanna White, co-host of "Mommy Mornings" has announced she will step down from the show in May. White was one of the original hosts when the show debuted four years ago. MSTV will begin the search for a replacement later this month with a host taking the seat in September. Various MSTV personalities will fill the seat from May until September.
Bobby Flay, host of "Brunch @ Bobby's" made a big announcement today too - his show will be ending in May after just a year on the air. Flay's show is expected to be replaced by a news program to allow the flow of the day.
