MSTV has made a long awaited announcement regarding the future of "The Reporter". To begin - the network has picked up the series for a third season. The late-night news program features hosts Erica Hill & Josh Elliott.
The pick-up isn't the big announcement - the change is. The program will switch formats. Josh Elliott and Erica Hill will now host the program Sundays - Thursdays allowing the program to capture the large lead-in audience on Sundays.
In addition to adding a Sunday evening edition, the program adds a Saturday program. The Friday & Saturday program will be hosted by Bill Weir & Kate Bolduan.
The changes take effect on Friday May 30th.

Tuesday March 11th
Weeks ago, Bobby Flay revealed on air his show was ending this May. MSTV has now announced the new occupant of the noon hour.
@noon - a new news program with social media sewn in, will debut in September. MSTV is proud to announce Thomas Roberts as host, Roberts has been hosting weekend program "X-Country" for the past two years.
Roberts will be joined by a co-host who will be announced in the coming weeks. A replacement for Roberts will be announced in the coming weeks and will likely take over the role during the summer.
MSTV is excited to produce a better flow of the weekday news and having social media play an integral part of the noon hour means you get your news in new ways.

MSTV is extending its best wishes to "This Afternoon" host Savannah Guthrie as she recently announced that she and her new husband are expecting their first child in late August.

MSTV has made some announcements late Sunday about upcoming changes in their schedules:
@noon, the new noon hour new program with social media integration set to debut in September has announced a co-host for Thomas Roberts. Chris Jansing, currently a substitute anchor will join Roberts.
MSTV has announced a replacement for Roberts on "X-Country", current reporter Richard Lui will replace Roberts on the weekly travel news program.
Speaking of "X-Country" the network announced that Andrea Canning will return from her maternity leave on April 5th.
And finally, the network has announced they expect Lara Spencer & Jenna Bush-Hager to alternate as substitutes for Savannah Guthrie on "This Afternoon" when she goes on maternity leave this summer.

Sunday March 30th
Fred Roggin, the sports anchor on the #1 rated morning show "This Morning" has announced he is leaving the network. Roggin and the network have been re-working Fred's contract and upon review, Roggin has decided to leave the network. Roggin is expected to sign with ESPN. Roggin will depart the morning program at the end of May.

Tuesday April 1st
Just 48 hours after Fred Roggin announced he is leaving "This Morning" MSTV has shaken up the show and the network's news division.
Josh Elliott (currently of "The Reporter") will join "This Morning" in September in a new role as "Sports and Entertainment Anchor". Elliott will return to his roots as a sport broadcaster while adding entertainment and social media to his portfolio on the show.
Jason Kennedy, who joined the show earlier this year will leave "This Morning" at the end of the summer for a different role on the network. Elliott's job will combine that of Roggin and Kennedy.
MSTV is expected to announce a replacement for Elliott in the coming weeks.
"This Morning" remains the number one morning program with the winning team of David Gregory, Natalie Morales, Al Roker, Tamron Hall, Rebecca Jarvis and now Josh Elliott.

MSTV congratulates Kate Bolduan on her pregnancy. Bolduan announced today she is expecting and due in October.
It was recently announced Bolduan along with Bill Weir will host "The Reporter" on Friday & Saturday evenings effective May 30th. This will still be in place with Bolduan taking off around her pregnancy.

Monday April 14th
Lawrence O’Donnell will be off the air for several weeks after being involved in a car accident over the weekend while vacationing.
“Lawrence O’Donnell and his brother Michael were injured in a taxi accident on Saturday while vacationing out of the country. They were transported back to the US – Lawrence to NYC and Michael to Boston. They are both under the care of doctors and expected to make a full recovery. Lawrence will be off from MSNBC for several weeks as he recuperates. Our thoughts and support are with the O’Donnell family and we look forward to having Lawrence back on the air soon.”
No word yet on the extent of the O’Donnell brothers’ injuries, both are in good spirits.
Various MSTV anchors will be filling in on "Way Too Late" including; Steve Kornacki, Alex Witt, & Ari Melber.

Tuesday April 15th
At their pre-upfront presentation today, MSTV News provided updates on the big changes set for this fall.
Josh Elliott is joining David, Natalie, Tamron, Al, and Rebecca at "This Morning" on September 8th in the new role of Sports & Entertainment anchor.
Lara Spencer joins "Mommy Mornings" on September 2nd. Spencer replaced Vanna White who is leaving in May.
Thomas Roberts & Chris Jansing co-host @noon effective September 8th.
Jenna Bush-Hager will fill in for Savannah Guthrie on "This Afternoon" when Guthrie goes on maternity leave in late July.
Kate Snow & Norah O'Donnell are switching jobs with O'Donnell being named the new anchor of "This Evening" effective September 8th. Luke Russert is leaving "This Evening" for a new role with the network.
Dan Harris joins Erica Hill on "The Reporter" effective Sunday September 7th.
Richard Lui joins "X-Country" in June.
Bill Weir and Kate Bolduan host the Friday/Saturday edition of "The Reporter" starting in May. Bolduan will be on maternity leave come September.
