March 8th
MSTV is proud to announce that Lester Holt will be the new co-anchor of "The Reporter". This move for Holt takes him from the anchor desk of "This Evening: Weekend" and puts him on a weekday duty with co-host Erica Hill.
Additionally, Holt will keep his role as key fill-in for David Muir on "This Evening".
Replacing Holt on "This Evening: Weekend" will be current substitute anchor Carl Quintanilla. Quintanilla has filled in for Holt numerous times and was the easy choice to anchor the weekend program.
Lester Holt will depart the weekend program March 22nd.
Quintanilla will begin anchoring the news on March 28th.
Holt takes over co-hosting duty of "The Reporter" on Monday April 13th. Various anchors and reporters will co-host with Erica Hill until then.
"The Reporter" airs weeknights at 11:30PM. "This Evening: Weekend" airs Saturday and Sunday at 6:00PM.

MSTV has renewed five of their weekend programs into next season. Although the network plans to make many changes to their weekend programing, they are proud to announce a large group of renewals at once.

"Pennsylvania Avenue" welcomes George Stephanopoulos as host just last month but the program has seen great improvements under the new moderator and will return for a seventh season Sundays this fall.
"Up to the Minute" keeps viewers abreast of the news needed - the program is set to return next fall for a third season on Saturdays & Sundays at 4PM, one hour later.
Finally, in a sign of scheduling changes, both "The Ifill Hour" and "The Steve Kornacki Show" have been renewed for a sixth and second respectively, but both programs are now only scheduled to air on Sundays.
