Returning for their seventh and fourth season “Fearless” and “The Oaks” remain paired on Monday nights.

The place to enjoy a good laugh remains Wednesday with our 4x comedy block returning in tact. Season five of “The Writer Jared” kicks off the night followed by the sophomore seasons of “The Science of Women” at 8:30 and “Going Green” at 9:30 with the fifth season of “Making it Legal” in-between. The sophomore season of the “Jozi-H” spin-off, “The International” remains at 10pm.
Thursdays begin with returning comedies “Taking Care of Business” and “Mommies Who Drink”. Bid farewell during this, the seventh and final season of “Mommies Who Drink” which will end after a 13-episode season in November. The night continues with the new Alicia Silverstone led dramedy “The Nice Girl” at 9:00pm. The night concludes with the fourth season of the hit “Charlie’s Angels”.
Friday continues to be a strong spot for the network with the sixth season of “Secrets of a Small Town” relocating from Sundays to kick-off the night. The night rolls on the fifth season of “Football Wives” and season four of “On The Contrary”.
A star is shining bright on Saturdays as the new reality competition “Star Search” debuts in the fall with two-hour episodes. The new series hosted by Corbin Bleu and featuring judges Ellen DeGeneres, Derek Hough, Elvis Costello, and Lauryn Hill led into the sophomore season of “72 Hours”.
MSTV remains must see on Sunday with the return of “Million-Dollar Match Game” followed by season five of “LateNight” and the sophomore season of “Writer’s Block”. The night continues at 9 with the debut of the John Stamos led “14th Street Legal” and ending the night is the four season of the must-see hit “Jozi-H”
MSTV is working to produce hits year-round and not just in the fall. Among the shows scheduled to debut mid-season are the Felicity Huffman led “Hiccuops” and the J.J. Abrahams produced “Quantum Leap” remake and “The Assistants”. “RX” and “Smoke & Mirrors” both return at mid-season for their second seasons. Hit comedy “Alpha Mom” returns for its fifth season while “American Bandstand” will return to Saturdays a few weeks late for its fourth season. New reality show “Race To The Top” is also set to bow during the mid-season. Several successful summer series could be order as additional mid-season entries.

We say, “was” because a shocking and unnecessary killing brings John face-to-face with his conscience. What begins for John as a simple effort to right a wrong will become a life-changing passion. Once he realizes that his law firm is on the wrong side of decency, John throws in the towel with a down-and-dirty legal clinic and begins to take cases other lawyers reject and handles clients who can barely afford to pay. John’s ties to his old firm will help him tangle with the big boys.
Not caring what he risks John rents a store front in one of the city’s poorest areas and opens up the 14th Street Legal Clinic. With his neurosurgeon wife Stacy (Marisak Hargitay) angered over his actions she kicks him out and files for a divorce leaving him to live on 14th street with his new clients. Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Dr. Sam Beckett led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top-secret project known as Quantum Leap. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Dr. Beckett prematurely stepped into the project accelerator, and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own time was maintained through brain-wave transmissions with Al, the womanizing, cigar-smoking and best friend sickkick project observer, who appears in the form of a hologram, that only Dr. Beckett can see and hear. Trapped in the past, Dr. Beckett finds himself leaping from life to life, putting things right that once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home.
Al can’t help Sam along. There is Ziggy, an artificial intelligence that runs the project and attempts to deduce the purposes of Sam’s leaps. Gooshie is the project’s head programmer while Tina is Al’s girlfriend and Dr. Beeks is the project’s psychiatrist.

Notes and other stuff:
•"American Bandstand" will be delayed a few weeks and will no longer air 45 episodes per season to cut on costs. The series will air a more moderate 22-30 season (exact number is to be determined).
•Mid-season entry "USCG" has gotten the axe despite decent ratings.
•As usual summer series have the change to be renewed for mid-season if not for summer during the early months of the season.

Good schedule MSTV Monday - Looks strong as always. Good move waiting to launch Quantum Leap Tuesday - This day flows really well, and I like Family Goals. Wednesday - Should continue to work! Science of Women could grow too next season Thursday - Not your strongest night, but it should do at least similar to how it did this season. It definitely has a target audience and the lineup flows really nicely. Friday - Secrets fits well with Football Wives, and it should definitely improve on Nurses numbers. The whole night should do really well. Saturday - Star Search could work really well on Saturday. It seems like it should be even stronger than American Bandstand. Sunday - All the shows are great. Hopefully Writer's Block provides enough support for 14th Street Legal to launch. OVERALL great lineup MSTV

Thanks - I'm really excited for next season, it'll a transition season for me as some of big shows are leaving or on their way out.
My development wasn't the best this season but I'm already working on next year.

Some good moves, other not so good. Not as optimistic about this sked as EBN is, though.
Monday - the sold line-up stays in tact. Legends should stay solid, as should the Oaks, but I think this will be the year that Fearless really starts the fall in the ratings.
Tuesday - Not a fan of Family Goals at all. I'm thinking it'll do Washing Windows numbers or just above that. Definitely will not surpass its lead-in. 9-11PM will stay solid as always. Kind of wondering about Coffee Confessions, though. It's fell over a million from the beginning to the end of the season. Will it continue to fall? I don't think its lead-in will do it any favors.
Wednesday - Why change success? Good idea to keep this schedule in tact.
Thursday - With two of the weaker comedies gone, you would think that the line-up would get better overall.. but I don't see it happening. 8PM should be stronger and 10PM should remain good, but I don't see Nice Girl breaking out at all, and could see it doing the numbers that Who Gets the Parents and Alpha Mom were getting, effectively a wash on Thursdays.
Friday - Should do better now that Nurses is gone, but Secrets now has no lead-in, but should be a self-starter by now.. and what secrets could be left in a small town in its sixth season? It'll be down from its Sunday numbers, but still above Nurses.
Saturday - I really like the idea of bringing back Star Search.. but on Saturdays? Really, this show could have been a water cooler show that everyone was talking about if it was anywhere but Friday and Saturday, but I seriously question putting it here and will hurt the series, IMO. The night overall will be stronger, though.
Sunday - I'm not sure what to think 14th Street Legal at all. I could see it going either way, but can't really see the premise of the show outdoing the 4.5 demo average that Secrets did in the slot. The rest of the night was good.
Definitely not a strong slate of new shows at all. Very disappointing, actually. I like how other than Secrets, nothing else was moved around the schedule, though.

Thanks for your opinions NTB.
In response to "Fearless" it was already announced it would end in May 2013 so this is the 2nd to last season.
About the new shows - I think Family Goals could break-out and out perform Rules (even just a little). 14th & Nice aren't my strongest, I do agree.
I think my mid-season shows are the strongest though - Hiccups, Quantum and Assistants.

I agree with NTB that it was good you didn't move things around too much, because in the past few years i've seen a lot of shows moved around a lot, so it's nice to see your schedule have more stability. I do agree that Thursday may struggle (but stay equal to last year), as may 14th Street Legal although I think that you'll definitely have growth on Saturday and Wednesday. I think Star Search should do great for you. You could also start it in the later summer on Sundays then transition it to Saturday in the Fall.

Monday - "Quantum Leap" will do well, it already has an established audience. Plus having Nathan Fillion as the lead certainly helps.
Tuesday - "Family Goals" reminds me of "Modern Family". It should do well, but I think it shares and audience with NTB's "Port Love".
Wednesday - It will, obviously, continue to do well.
Thursday - "The Nice Girl" is a great show (which I wish I had), ahd should do well. What are you planning to replace "Mommies Who Drink" with?
Friday - I agree with NTB, "Secrets of a Small Town" is already past its prime.
Saturday - With EBN no longer airing "The American Actor" on saturdays, "Star Search" should succeed. But I do question having Lauryn Hill as a judge.
Sunday - "14th Street Legal" looks okay, but I don't think "Writer's Block" is a compatible lead-in.

Hiccups is likely going to Thursdays at 8:30 Lauryn was the judge for the nostalic/shock factor - like when Paula joined Idol everyone was like 'what?" thats what I was going for.
