Analysis:
With its action and sci-fi themes, Mondays will remain the same. Tuesdays will be as thrilling as ever with the strong returning dramas, "Northtown Avenue" and "Murder Diaries", which will lead into the critic-favorite "Masquerade", the new Murder-Mystery.
Wednesdays will see the relaunch of "The Weakest Link", with the rest of the night remaining the same. Thursdays is again the day for soaps and drama. "She.E.O." remains at 8, leading into the highly-anticipated "Belford Avenue". The light-hearted "Modelling Through" will end the night, as it always has.
Fridays. The hit comedies, "Latifah" and "Never Better", will start off the night as it did last season. At nine will be "Waiting to Exhale", an adaptation of the movie of the same name, staring big names like Rashida Jones, Malinda Williams, Jill Scott and Jennifer Holliday. "Related" moves back an hour to ten.
The traditionally weak Saturdays for UEN won't see a big change, instead trying to remain as stable as possible. "Wanda & Tammy" and "Latifah" Beginnings will start off the night. If their ratings are sucessful, it is possible new comedies will be lanuched in their place. "Your Wish" moves to a new timeslot with a larger audience. "Blind Date" remains at 10, although low rated, it is a younger-skewing show.
Sundays have the most change. Nina will continue to start off the night with a rerun and an original episode. At eight will be the sleeper hit, "In The Family", which stars Bill Cosby, and the Reba comedy, "Divorced Together". "Wanda & Tammy" returns at 9 and leads into the ensemble comedy, "Not Going Out", wich start British comedienne, Catherine Tate. Capping off the night will be dramedy "Venus". Sundays will remain the 'feel good' night for UEN, with the themes of friends, family and love.
