Hold Tight wins Picture; Franco, Hathaway, Kidman and Downey win acting
In a somewhat predictable Oscar cerimony, frontrunner drama "Hold Tight" won Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay. Hold Tight did miss out on two big prizes though: Best Actor and Actress. Best Actress has been a competetive race all season, but it was expected to go to Naomi Watts, who ended up losing to Anne Hathway in A Tale of Two Cities. While Brad Pitt in Hold Tight lost out to James Franco for Alexander the Great. Robert Downey Jr. won his first Oscar, while Nicole Kidman won her second Academy Award. It's easy to say the big winners were Hold Tight, Alexander the Great and A Tale of Two Cities. The Last Campaign and Conditions of Justice both received a lot of nominations, but each only won one award (editing for Campaign and Screenplay for Justice).
