I sure hope ATOTC does better...the budget is going to be nearly $150 million, and it's runtime will be nearly 3 hours.

It's an oscar movie and opens at Christmas so its legs should be really good. Christmas movies opening weekends usually aren't as big, but they get tons of money during the week. I think it will be upwards of 30 for sure. I could see up to 45. It's just an early prediction.
Other Christmas movies Benjamin Button for example had 26 opening and 127 total Night at the Museum started at 30 and finished with 250.

Yeah, that's true. Benjamin Button numbers would be great...I'm just NOT hoping for Australia numbers...
I was actually going to release it this Thanskgiving, but with me being away, I had no time to promote it, so I moved it back a month.

I think they both will be bigger now with advertising and the award nominations. MY Robot might be able to top 20 million being the main family holiday movie.
