Tonight on UPN at 8pm is the debut of the brand new talk show Luda and Jacqui Mac which will be the prime-time edition of the new daytime talk series. Both Ludacris and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood will branch off into their own series inside of UPN's all new daytime lineup this upcoming August.
This hip-hop themed series will produce a mix of today's hottest topics and debate with the new infamous "hot hood table" which will be the centerpiece of all debate. This will they'll be talking about the deaths of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson and how they impacted this week negative talk from the media. Jacqui Mac (Toronto's Friends & CBS soap Bold and the Beautiful) is a protege of Ludacris' learning everything from him when it comes to DJing, rapping, break dancing and even hosting a show with style. The show will feature talk show segments with regular guest like Maury, cooking segments and a variety of other things. The traditional talking to celebrity guest and music concerts will still hold true in this format. Danny Bonaduce will provide announcer work for Ludacris' show with Grandmaster Flex providing the beats while DJ Qualls will be the show's official DJ. Leeann Tweeden and Rachelle Leah will be alternate host for both shows.

Jacqui Mac's part of the show will deal more with the female side of things as she will have members of the street dancing group Beat Freaks helping her host the show. DJing the music will be HOT 97 in New York radio host Angie Martinez and playing on the strings with her band is the Hip-Hop Violinist Miri Ben Ari. England's Layla Kayleigh will be doing the side and backstage hosting and reporting also providing daily news briefs for the show. Aida Mollenkamp and Giada DeLaurentiis will be the cooking chefs alternating on certain days of the show. Missy Elliot will host the weekly hip-hop battles which will feature break dancing and freestyling (rapping on the top of your head). Jacqui Mac's show will be going under the name Terri dedicated to hip-hop teacher Terri Balinski.
