Toronto- Rookie game show executive Charles Neely signs a huge developmental deal with the network for game show opportunities with the new revived network UPN. Charles Neely signs a huge 3-year deal worth $35 million priced at an average of $11.6 million per year. Charles will become the exclusive game show producer for the network and will bring all of his series pitches to the network along with the signing. Charles is a young 23-year old college graduate from Ohio University and has had one year experience on other game show crews in the past year.
Charles Neely brings with to UPN these following game shows Name That, Scene It, Family Game Night, Star Game, Lightning Round, Joker's Wild, The Love Game, Beat the Clock, UNO and Now You See It which are all expected to be produced for this season. UPN is already rolling out his game schedule starting this week with Name That and Scene It. Then later in the week with Star Game PM a prime-time edition of the game and Lightning Round. He will feature four of his game shows in daytime starting this August like Beat the Clock and UNO. Family Game Night has already been renamed to Friday Night Family Game Night beginning this fall.

Name That
New game show where contestants have to either name a tune that they hear or a show/movie that they see.
Scene It
From the hit board/DVD game Scene It comes to the first game show based on it where contestants are formed in three groups of three people figuring out what stuff was on the screen.
Star Game PM
This brand new game show is the nighttime version of a game that has six celebrities trying to help two contestants win money in a series of card and guessing games. The style of the show is similar to match game like a comedy club atmosphere with a very involved host and crowd.
Lightning Round
This brand new game show features three teams of two roommates who compete in a series of random games until the final round where one team is left. That team must play in a 2 minute lightning round featuring questions about each other. The roommates in that round must know each other very well or they lose. Those questions are submitted by the contestants before the show begins. If the team wins then their rent and bills are paid off for an entire year.
Also signing with the network is another rookie exec named Gavin Nagy who will produce variety and reality shows. The show runner will be in charge of most of the upcoming revived variety genre shows coming to the network and reality shows and its competitions. Gavin Navy signs a 3-year deal for $12.5 million a year at a total of $37.5 million which is a similar deal to Charles Neely. UPN CEO BlueLick says, "Locking up these show runners right now gives us flexibility to start on our original programming lineups right now". Gavin Nagy is a 25-year old Hollywood junior producer who will move his operations to Toronto to run everything there at UPN.
He has some stuff launching as early as this week also like The Next Great American Entertainer, Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better!, The Cher Variety Hour w/ Alexa Chung and Selena & Demi Variety Show. He will co-produce the self-titled Ludacris & Terri Show with Ludacris. Some of the stuff he has planned for the fall will be the highly anticipated fall premiere of the Idol like The Carpenters Hour. For the fall it will be newly acquired Kid Nation 2, Donny & Marie Variety Hour, 3 Girls 3, Real People, The Whitney Cumming Show, untitled Variety Saturday Night shows and The Midnight Special. Others will be announced later. Also afternoon editions of Seattle Beat, UPN Variety Daily Showcase and Peanut Butter & Jelly Bear.

Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better!
UPN's newly signed deal with their Wide World of Sports franchise debuts with long-time liquid energy producer Gatorade's first series. The series is the ultimate male vs. female contest as both genders features unknowns going head to head every week in a series of games for bragging rights. Each week one of the genders wins will go towards cash and prizes.
Ludacris & Terri Show
The prime-time edition of the future daytime talk show hosts. The show is a live interactive entertainment, music, talk, and variety program. They'll feature guests during every episode.
The Cher Variety Hour w/ Alexa Chung
The first variety program on UPN will bring back the genre like the way its supposed to be with cheesy filled entertainment. Just like her hit The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour back in the 60s and 70s, Cher will bring back the tradition of the genre by featuring random acts of slapstick comedy, skits and live music. English personality Alexa Chung helps hosts this hour of fun entertainment.
Selena & Demi Variety Show
A half-hour variety show following Disney Channel's two most brightest young stars. Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato host this variety special featuring random acts of slapstick comedy, skits and live music. This show will be hosted from the site of concerts of young artists, most of the time Disney artists. The guest on this debut episode will be Miley Ray Cyrus.
