Saturday June 20, 2009 edition
This June Saturday features a lot of new programming including the anticipated all-new NTB Saturday Night lineup with season premieres. The all-new Saturday Night lineup starts up at 8pm featuring the reality hidden camera trick show Oblivious, then at 8:30pm the show that fits like a glove YouTube out of Oblivious. YouTube is the #1 destination for web videos so this is the perfect show. At 9pm we get serious with the hit reality series season premiere of Lockdown that puts 9 contestants locked in a mansion. Oh Yeah! Its hot and its on Saturday Nights leading into the 10pm hour with the NTB Money Madness which is live. It should be a huge night for NTB.
The other networks also feature new programming starting with MSTV's American Bandstand at 8pm featuring JC Chavez as host with guests Kelly Clarkson, Jason Maraz, and 3OH3! then the sixth episode of the fifth season of Average Joe: Virgin Territory at 9pm. leading out to a repeat at 10pm. EBN leads off with Millionaire 5 then Stereotype and Current to follow. UEN leads off at 8pm with Your Wish then an hour of Play the Game and Down You Go at 9pm, capping off the lineup with a repeat of McLeod's Daughters.
Night 4 of the battle between the new networks Uniworks and United People's Network continues on this Saturday Night. Uniworks has Museum Studies at 8pm then a Uniworks' Movie of the Week presentation of Little Children. Ironic enough UPN is also airing a movie in that same slot getting their Movie of the Week series started with the first Bond movie Dr. No, it should be interesting to see who comes out on top in that slot. Before that for UPN is a hour long series premiere of the new UPN movie studio series Behind World Pictures that takes you behind the scenes of their releases at the theaters at 8pm. Should be an interesting battle.

Sunday June 21, 2009 edition
This is a very different Sunday Night than usual because we have a new network that's rolling out its original series lineup for the first time in their very short five day history. That network is UPN as the aggressive new network hopes to get a start similar to UEN's back in March 2008. UPN's fifth night of prime time is also their first real aggressive scheduling night. UPN is calling their new Sunday Night block "UPN Moving In Night".
It all begins at 7pm for UPN with a pair of new reality shows that take you inside the beginning stages of two different entertainment fields. The dreams come true hour begins with a real look at what it takes to become a professional cheerleader in the new professional United Football League. It's the UFL's first original series called Life as a Cheerleader in the UFL then later in that hour at 7:30pm they have The Diary of an Upcoming UPN Actor taking a look at 5 acting hopefuls on their journey towards being placed in an upcoming UPN series. Then we get the network's first scripted programming affair at 8pm with the highly anticipated Friends remake Toronto's Friends starring Scout Taylor-Compton and Kyle Massey then at 8:30pm its Soul Sisters featuring two lovely Philadelphia R&B singers before they hit big time. At 9pm their blockbuster reality competition warming the slot for the fall's Idol The Carpenters Hour is The Next Great American Entertainer which will feature auditions in New York City trying to find the next great all-around entertainer. A winner will be named later this summer. Finally to cap off the big night for UPN is the 10pm showcase of the highly anticipated drama Northern California featuring a widow and his 8 kids, hiring a social worker played by ex-Felicity star Keri Russell to help out as she returns to television. Should be interesting.
UPN is in a nightly battle with Uniworks on this 5th night of competition as Uniworks is offering at 7pm a two hour block of Behind the Movie then at 9pm Theme Park Adventures for two hours.
The rest of the networks also known as the BIG 4 are also programming great stuff. NTB features the first of eight games in their serious NFL Heat tournament at 7pm. The huge east coast rivalry arrives in Philadelphia as they host New York. These two teams are the biggest in the league and only winner will be determined on the road to the big championship game. Lead-out at 10pm is an original installment of the third season of Attempt 2. Over on EBN is a repeat night of programming with the 2004 movie of the year Shrek 2 at 7pm for their Movie of the Week then a repeat of the hit One Crime at 10pm capping their night off. Then on Must See TV they have a repeat of Million-Dollar Match Game at 7pm to lead off then an original installment of my personal favorite Big Mother's House III as the reality campaign continues at 8pm then at 9pm an all-new installment of the freshman series McCallister and another repeat of their hit series Jozi-H which is getting plenty of multiple repeat runs this summer. The last of the BIG 4 is UEN and they have a night of finales on Sunday Night starting at 7pm with a replay of Wanda & Tammy then at 7:30pm its the series finale of Color Blind with two episodes. Then at 8:30pm its the season finale of The 1320 Second News. Followed by the season finales of The Hollywood Dream and Depths to fill the rest of the night.
