They'll try to do everything to take him down but Leonard's (Mark Wahlberg) brother (Donnie Wahlberg) is secretly working for his father and using the badge as a cover up. Will Smith, Shia LaBeouf, (2009), Possibly one of the summer's biggest blockbusters this year follows two customers who become sleuths trying to takeout a bunch of thugs who try to destroy a popular Los Angeles amusement park and the people in it. Both Will Smith and Shia LaBeouf make a dream combo on this 4th of July themed film. Ian Bradley (Will Smith) takes him family out for fun and Geoff Hawkings (Shia LaBeouf) takes his girlfriend out on a date, little do they know the day would be no ordinary day for them. A bunch of thugs are set on a plot to destroy the amusement park by making the day hell for customers. The movie is a great ride from beginning to end with a great 3D experience that put you right on the height of the action during rollercoaster rides similar to Final Destination 3. Ian and Geoff do everything in their power to save the day. This thrill ride is fun and exciting making it the perfect popcorn flick. Will Smith, Shia LaBeouf (128 mins., Mystery & Suspense)

Anthony Hopkins, Bella Thorne, (2009), Anthony Hopkins gives a four-star performance as a psychologist to a case that rivals even the worse of them. Child star Bella Thorne becomes a force to be reckon with in her first real serious role that can be rivaled to Linda Blair's excellent but chilling 1973 performance of Regan in The Exorcist. This character study thriller follows a 13-year old girl Yasmine Taylor (Bella Thorne) who has major issues expressing her anger. Yasmine is not your typical serial killer, her case is special than most b/c she does damage to people through mind games, setting up people's death without even touching them. She also does it without people knowing about it for months and months. Dr. Lawrence Chambers is called into take on this special case working close with Yasmine's family to try and save their little girl and their family. Dr. Chambers has met his match and now the brilliantly back and forth communication out duels each other so much that one of them is going to have to die. Yasmine is a very intelligent girl. A pure good vs. evil story at its height. Nikki Cox plays Yasmine's mother and does a stellar job at making the mother's character very depressed. Howard plays the detective working on her case. Ben Savage, Rider Strong, (2009), World Pictures two biggest signees Ben Savage and Rider Strong duel up for the first time since Boy Meets World back in the 90s. This sci-fi slash supernatural adventure puts together two brothers who have spent their childhood wondering what the noise was coming from the attic. They never found out when they were young so when they returned to the home to visit their parents and baby-sister during summer vacation they start hearing the noises again and this time its noisier. With the help of their younger sister Karen (Lily Collins) they finally see what's up in the attic and well there's definitely something up there and its not friendly. The unknown starts to takeover the house. Your guess in this movie is to figure out if its a ghost or a creature. What a fun mystery. Omarion returns to the acting landscape as Karen's annoying silly boyfriend. Lily Collins, Omarion (112 mins., Sci-Fi)

Paul Walker, Tracy Kimmel, (2009), The first in house production for World Pictures under the United People's Network Flicks studio produces never heard of actors to the forefront in huge roles. Future super creator Michael Bradeson produces this future classic that can rival comic powerhouses Spider-Man and The Dark Knight. Introducing future all-star movie actress Tracy Kimmel and future all-around star Allison Shields duel as friends in this comic adventure while Tom Welling stars. Star Girl is about a 16-year old tough Detroit teen named Stephanie Walters who deals with her streets her way. Nothing intimidates her so at night when she escapes from her home she goes out and takes care of business. Her young age keeps her at bay with the cops and that relationship with the cops is interesting. Stephanie Walters kicks ass against villains who are very dangerous. Paul Walker plays her main supporter at the police force and shows her the ropes on how to play undercover in getting criminals and becomes somewhat of a mentor to this girl who continues to not attend her high school. There's one guy in her way and its her biggest crush. A young drug trader named Tom Welling is popular in her neighborhood but he's a bad guy and Stephanie even though she has feelings for him, has to take him down. A good well acted supported role is played by Allison Shields. This tough gritty adventure make Stephanie Walters "Star Girl." Allison Shields, Tom Welling (137 mins., Action/Adventure)
