I have two later in the season premieres, Living Dead and Occult which will be my last premieres of the 2008-2009 Season. I appreciate any premiere predictions good or bad.
Timeslot: Sunday at 10/9c
Lead-In: One Crime (20 million viewers)
Living Dead - 1999 military expert Rick Diaz (Benjamin Bratt) was tragically shot and killed by a hitman leaving behind his then 33 year old wife (Kelly Rutherford) and his twin son and daughter who were 6. Nine years later Rick wakes up in a top secret building owned by a fomer co-worker and close friend whom he almost had an affair with, Dr. Lise Stephs (Bonnie Sommerville). Dr. Stephs is part of an extremist group who believes the end of the world is near, and she believes Rick is the one who ends up leading them. After he was shot by a hitman, Dr. Stephs kept Rick alive in the building for years as the billionaire financer (John Glover) behind the project, famous scientist (Dennis Hooper), and former FBI Agent and computer expert (Daniel Dae Kim) continued to discover information about the future and how to prevent the end of the world, as Dr. Stephs figured out a way to bring him alive.
Now that Rick is alive, he must live dead, knowing that his wife is remarried, his children are grown up, and his friends believe he's dead. He must decide whether to join the secret agency or to try to resume his life.
Timmeslot: Wednesday at 10.9c
Lead-In: The Daily Planet (16-17 million)
Occult stars Billy Zane and Rose Bryne as a former mental patient and a doctor who investigate crimes of the occult kind, usually that end up being not so occult after-all, although the mental patient (Zane) is convinced occult forces exist and killed his family, although he was convicted of the crime.
