The new NTB law drama follows three different people who just graduated from a fictional top-tier law school in New York City - one a black woman Jalesa Baker (who was at the top of her class and things came easy to her), the other a white man Tony Kitezer (who doesn't like law but was heavily encouraged to go to law school from his grandfather and father - passing it down the family) and the other a blonde bombshell Sara Defuntea (who worked ridiculously hard in school, was in the middle of her class and doesn't mind sleeping with her clients). After being sworn in the pilot of the series, these three very different people work hard, some more than others, to make a name for themselves against the amateurs. Some will have a hard time doing so such as Jalesa finding it hard to have people hire her (despite her doing so well in school), Sara causing trouble left and right and Tony discovering that he actually likes what he does.

Not only is this fictional credit card company run like this, but the series follows Karen making illegal transactions with other companies and how she is able to get away with it while receiving unprecedented wages and bonuses.

- Remember is about the backstage drama of a Soap Opera. Margaret Baker (Ashley Jones) is the star of the show "Remember" who spends much of her time dealing with her malicious Co-Star Sara Silver (Alison Sweeney), who is jealous that she has a smaller role and that Margaret is dating Bryan Garret (James Tupper), the male lead in the show. Margaret's best friend is Molly Thatcher (Elisabeth Moss), who is a writer on the show. Sara Silver is always trying to seduce Director James Andy (Rob Estes) so that she can get a bigger part on the show, or even kill Margaret's character off the show. Erica Mattson (Deidre Hall) and Jimmy Glover (Danny Glover) are the veterans on the show, both have been in the TV business for over 30 years, they are the most down to earth on the show but also have their share of drama. And Lynn Fox (Golden Brooks) is the newest addition to "Remember", she has a hidden plan of revenge on one of the cast members.
Remember is unique as the soap opera contained within the TV continuity has its own story-line and characters, and in addition the actors and actresses has separate story-lines with their own conflicts.
