Today NTB has announced exclusively because of their shorter-than-usual season, many shows that were originally planned to air during the regular season have been postponed for the summer. NTB's President says this is good news for fans as the network will air a lot of original series during the season that has been often been "boring."
Among some of the things to look forward this summer is the return of the hit reality sensation Singing Superstar returning with an all-new third season.
Russian Roulette, Temptations, Youtube and Oblivious will return to the network. All four of these shows aired on NTB last summer.
The hit NFL summer league, the NFL Heat, will also return for a second season after the big hit that it was this past summer as well. Look for it to air primarily on Sundays in primetime much like it did during the end of its season last year with the occasional primetime airings during the week.
Last summer's big comedy hit, New York, will also return, along with Unhinged, the veteran summer comedy, to presumably share a timeslot (each will air shortened seasons). Broken Home, also a veteran comedy, is also expected to return.
NTB has also confirmed exclusively to viewers that their very own reality series Big Boss will move to the summer months after two seasons of airing during the regular season on Friday and Saturday nights. Expect it to air in a two hour block on one night, however.
In addition, look forward to big time dramas Grandma's Rich, All Fall Down, Attempt 2 and the interactive drama The Elite to return as well.
