-Sundays see the biggest change, as the night gets an enormous overhaul. To try and make more inroads on the night, The MX is starting out with the highly anticipated return of newsmagazine, "24 Hours" which was last seen in 2007. That leads into the new drama, "Marlowe", starring Jason O'Mara, Jaime Ray Newman, and Amanda Righetti, while "The Firm" moves to Sundays 9 p.m., and new drama, "Conspiracy", starring Moira Kelly ("One Tree Hill"). Full details below:
MARLOWE:
The greatest detective in American crime fiction collides with present-day Los Angeles in a smart, stylish update of the Raymond Chandler classics. The City of Angels has changed since we last saw Philip Marlowe: the clubs have gotten louder, the drugs stronger, the girls skinnier. But deep down the rich and sometimes famous, with their sense of entitlement and their deep dark secrets, are just as willing to break the law as ever. A low-tech guy unfazed by our high-tech world, Marlowe still solves mysteries and doggedly fights for truth with his whiskey, his revolver, and his gravelly first-person narration. The case isn't over until justice is served, even if the check bounces. The only change in his style is that he's hired a girl Friday, a dame named Jessica who's as hard-headed as she is easy on the eyes. Because when you get taken apart by goons in a back alley fight, it's nice to have a workplace wife to put you back together Trouble may be Marlowe's business. But the rest of us will sleep better knowing that the world's greatest gumshoe is back on the case.
CONSPIRACY:
New drama about a Washington, D.C.-based attorney who, after winning a highly publicized case for a large pharmaceutical company, learns she was given falsified documents and her client was guilty, placing her own life in danger when she discovers her prestigious law firm is to blame.
The MX hasn't released much mid-season yet, but coming then is a second season of comedy "LateNight", along with a fourth season of drama "Rocky Point", and a second season of "Name That Tune!".
Canceled series include "The Firm: Trial By Jury", "Taking the Long Way", and "The Regrets Are Killing Me"
