EFT announced a ton of new summer notes, including some season/series finale dates, along with some new "events".
First off, the season finale of "Extreme Music Reunion" will air Monday July 30th at 8/7c, concluding its 10-episode run. The two-hour season finale of "It Could Be You" will then air Monday August 6th. Despite some sour ratings for the latter, both have been renewed for next summer, or if needed, for next season.
"Newsline" will officially conclude its new season run on Monday August 6th at 10/9c with a special interview with the Spice Girls about their upcoming new tour and there recent new time in the studio. On August 13th, "Hollywood Division" will move into its new slot (Mondays 10/9c) with encores at 10/9c and 9/8c. "Everwood" reruns will also start on August 13th at 8/7c. The 9/8c slot this fall will be occupied by new drama, "The Non Believer".
"The Search for the Next Cheetah Girl" will conclude on Tuesday July 31st with a 2-hour series finale. On Tuesday August 7th, the line-up will then be, as in fall, Leave the Pieces/Confessions/Amy Coyne. Despite great ratings, the show will not return as sees the Cheetah Girls were only looking for one new member. However, the show might return next summer in some form, possibly looking for the next boy band. Nothing has been officiated yet.
"The Weekly TV Clipdown" will have its two hour season finale (recapping the best TV moments of 2007 to date) on Wednesday August 8th and on Wednesday August 15th, double shots of "Uglies" will fill the 8/7c and 9/8c slot preparing for the new series, "Playing With Fire" coming this fall, along with "Uglies" at 9/8c.
Starting Wednesday August 1 at 9/8c, EFT will air "Livestrong", a new 4-week reality series that will look for the most fit people in america, who are also striving for their own gym (where they are the trainer), but cannot afford it.
The Good Life" will wrap its sophmore season on Saturday August 18th at 8/7c with a full-hour episode while "Life After Reality TV", will, likewise, wrap Sunday August 19th at 9/8c with two new episodes.
"The Laugh Factory 3" will wrap Sunday August 5th at 8/7c with a two-hour finale.
EFT also stated it will encore its "EFT Fall Preview Special" ONE more time before the summer is over to get viewers ready for the fall.
